Credits Abroad

From Cambridge International, Oxford Cambridge, and Edexcel; AS and A Level Exams

International AS-Levels and A-Levels are based on the well-established and internationally recognized examinations.  These are the most widely used qualifications for entry to Commonwealth universities.

Missouri Southern State University accepts transfer credits as follows:

  • Credits from abroad are included in the maximum number of 48 credit hours permitted to be earned under Alternative credits policy.
  • Test scores submitted through World Education Services (WES) for evaluation.
  • A minimum grade of “C” is required for approved credits unless otherwise noted.
  • Grades of “CR” will be applied for approved test scores.
  • As credits not originally earned through instruction from MSSU, accepted credits will be applied as transfer credits on student transcript.
  • Transfer credits will be articulated for degree-seeking students. For non-degree seeking students, accepted credits may be articulated only if they are needed as pre-requisites for Missouri Southern courses.

Test scores for courses not published in the table below will have to be submitted for review by the appropriate academic department through the Office of the Registrar. Course syllabi will be needed.
