CONNECT: Find your population! Field education provides hands-oninternship opportunities with partnered agencies within the Four-State region.

ADVOCATE: Find your voice! Develop competency with client systems while applying generalist social work knowledge, skills and values.

EMPOWER: Become a change agent! Serve among professionals that address justice issues and positively impact local, national and global efforts.

The field education requires 450-hours of field placement that is completed over two sequential semesters in the fall and spring semesters of BSW students’ senior year.

Our BSW program offers a diverse array of intern opportunities with partnered agencies in the four-state area. Our students directly serve clients in the field of medical social work, school-based social work, hospice, community and macro level social work, mental health, substance use intervention, domestic violence and much more!
