This sub-chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the professional association for design (Aiga.org), is a MSSU registered student organization open to any student interested in Design.

Where

Signs are posted for the meetings, which are usually held in the Graphic Design Lab. Art Room 332

Why would I want to join

Events sponsored by AIGA MSSU Design Club include professional development trips to local print and photography shops, portfolio reviews and lectures with visiting designers.

Roll-N-Ink Print Club


To further the knowledge and interaction between students interested in printmaking techniques and its techniques, such as: screen printing, wood cuts, linoleum relief, etching (metal plates). Fun projects: Zines, t-shirts, bags, hats, print-swaps, stickers

Nature of Activities

Creative projects, artist lectures (printmakers), demonstrations relating to screen printing, etching, relief, and other techniques

Southern Clay


Southern Clay is a Missouri Southern State University student-run organization. Members gain a greater understanding of ceramics as an art form through a range of experiences with clay, including wheel-throwing and/or hand-building projects, sales, field trips, or visiting artists.

We make stuff! Members participate in weekly hand-building and/or wheel throwing projects as well as attending other events relating to ceramics.
