Every Gift Matters
As we celebrate 75 years of academic and athletic pride, we are grateful for every friend and supporter of the MSSU Lion Pride who makes it possible for students to attain a quality and affordable education, and become successful members of our business community. Thanks to your generosity we have been able to provide much needed resources to our health sciences, business, public safety, arts and sciences, education and technology programs.
Our community benefits from the nearly 1000 graduates that enter the workforce every year as new professionals and emerging leaders. Many of these graduates would not have accomplished the goal of attaining a college degree without your private support.
State funding covers only 33% of MSSU's total operating expenses, making private gifts essential to all university activities. Join us, and help Missouri Southern State University expand its excellence and impact!
Spirit of Philanthropy Awards
Donors were recognized for their leadership gifts and two Spirit of Philanthropy awards were given. The Individual award went to John O. (Pat) and Carolyn Phelps of Carthage and the business award went to Roper Automotive Group of Joplin.
