Can I apply to the nursing program at MSSU if I have never taken a course at MSSU?
Yes, MSSU accepts transfer credits from accredited colleges and universities from across the country. You may visit with MSSU’s admission office at 417-625-MSSU (6778) or 866-818-6778. You may also visit the transfer articulation agreement website to see if MSSU has a transfer articulation agreement with your college or university.
What prerequisite courses are required to apply to MSSU’s nursing program?

Students are determined eligible to apply to the pre-licensure BSN or LPN to BSN program the semester before the anticipated nursing program semester starts (Fall or Spring pending approval) and upon completion of all pre-nursing admission requirements. How do I apply for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN)?
The National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) is the licensing examination for graduates of all nursing schools, including diploma, associate, and pre-licensure baccalaureate. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements determined by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). Completion of the program does not guarantee eligibility to take the licensure examination.
