HESI Exam

HESI Exam (Current MSSU Students ONly)


Where to test:

Missouri Southern State University in Webster Hall, room 117. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your exam time to get checked in.  You must bring a valid ID and your receipt for the exam.

Registration:

You will need to create your HESI account through the nursing department. You will be required to know your own username and password when you come.

Scheduling:

Next, you will need to call MSSU’s testing services and get into the schedule to take your exam. Call 417-625-9577. Please let us know if you are taking your first or second HESI exam or if you have accommodations.

Exam Information:

The HESI A2 exam (also known as the HESI Admission Assessment) is a 4-hour long exam, however it is possible to finish early. It covers Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, General Knowledge, Basic Math, and Biology. There may also be questions relating to grammar, chemistry, and physics. In the event you need to retake the HESI exam, you will need permission from your instructor before rescheduling. After you get rescheduled, please let us know that it is your second attempt when you schedule.
