Where to test:
Missouri Southern State University in Webster Hall, room 117. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your exam time to get checked in. You must bring ID that meets the requirements as listed on the GED website or you will not be able to take the test.
Registration:
Begin by registering for the GED exam on the GED website https://www.ged.com/
Scheduling:
You can schedule your exam through Pearson VUE test center and choose Missouri Southern State University as your chosen testing center and book your exam slot. Once scheduled, you will be added to our testing calendar here at MSSU. Testing Accommodations are handled through the Pearson VUE website.
Exam Information:
The test consists of four subjects: Reasoning through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies (For the math portion, you will be given a calculator and formula sheet). Exam lengths very: Language Arts is 150 minutes (10-minute break included), Math is 115 minutes, Science is 90 minutes and Social Studies is 70 minutes long.
