Immigration regulations require:

• 12 credit hours minimum
• 9 credit hours must be face‑to‑face (not online)

On‑Campus Jobs

International students may work on campus up to 20 hours per week during the semester.

If you plan to transfer to another U.S. institution, complete the form below.

CPT allows you to work in an internship or practicum related to your major while you are still a student.

Important CPT Rules

• Must be required for your academic program
• Must be tied to an internship/practicum course
• Meet with the International Student Services Coordinator each semester
• Internship dates must match the semester dates
• CPT can be paid or unpaid
• Paid CPT requires a Social Security Number
• You cannot work until you have your CPT I‑20

When to Apply

• Up to 90 days before graduation
