Newsmakers is a half-hour news interview program, airing weeknights on KGCS-TV and posted on the station YouTube site. KOAM-TV, the local CBS affiliate, airs the program on Saturday mornings at 5:30 a.m.
The show is hosted by the station's general manager. It focuses on people and issues of interest to the Joplin region. Students, staff and faculty from the station provide the production support.
