My MSSU Experience

"Looking back at my time at Missouri Southern, I started as an undecided major freshman, anxious about college, but after taking General Chemistry I with Dr. Michael Garoutte, my path became clear, with the subsequent courses taught by Dr. Lynel Gilbert-Saunders, Dr. James Donelson, Dr. Donna Johnson, and Dr. Alicia Burris solidifying my direction. The Biology and Chemistry department became like family, supporting and believing in me to pursue my dreams of becoming a pharmacist. Though unsure of my ability to pursue a Biochemistry Pre-Pharmacy degree, my advisor, Dr. James Donelson, consistently believed in me, offering guidance and reassurance with exams, pharmacy school applications, and pharmacy school loans, always making time to encourage my education at Missouri Southern State University."
