Athletic Scholarships at MSSU

Athletic scholarships at MSSU are managed by the Athletic Department. These awards are competitive and recognize student-athletes who demonstrate skill, commitment, and academic achievement.

Scholarship Requirements

• Recipients must participate in the activities outlined by the awarding department.
• Awards are competitive and based on athletic performance.
• A portfolio or audition may be required depending on the sport.
• Recipients must be full-time students (12 credit hours) and maintain the required GPA to renew the award.
• Students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
• Awards are not available for Summer Session unless approved by the Director of Student Financial Aid.
