Law Enforcement careers allow individuals to be a positive contribution to their community.  It offers a wide range of work, responsibilities and opportunities, as well as good benefits.  MSSU's Law Enforcement Academy will help give you the skills necessary for the job field before you start and offers continuing education courses throughout your career.  MSSU's Law Enforcement Academy is Missouri POST (Peace Officer Standards & Training) certified.

 

About The Law Enforcement Academy


The 600-Hour Basic Law Enforcement Academy offers day classes starting both in the Spring and the Fall (lasting 1 semester each), and night classes starting only in the Fall (lasting 2 semesters).  Applicants must be at least 20 years of age to begin a class.  Applicants must be 21 years of age, a United States citizen, and have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
