Advanced Power Minor

About the Degree:


A minor in Advanced Power is  valuable if  you are pursuing a career that requires knowledge about electrical energy and electrochemistry. Electrochemistry deals with chemical changes produced by electrical current and the production of electricity by chemical reactions, such as in batteries and fuel cells. The Chemical and Physical Science Department provides a positive environment for all students as well as faculty and staff.

  • Invaluable information about electronic circuits and the basics of electrochemistry
  • How to test, evaluate, design and model electrochemical devices. 
  • Materials and processing methods for electrochemical devices and other advanced topics in the discipline.
