Stephanie Hopkins, Ed.S., Director
Ms. Hopkins has earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Marketing from Missouri Southern State University, a Master of Science in Human Resource Development and a Specialist in Education with an Emphasis in Industrial Education from Pittsburg State University. Before becoming the Director of the Student Success Center in 2011, she held previous positions at MSSU as a Financial Aid Counselor, Student Accounts Manager, and Academic Support Specialist. In addition, she has taught the University Experience Class, College Academic Skills, Tutor Training, and Leadership and Professional Development classes. She has over 19 years of experience in higher education. Ms. Hopkins serves on various committees on campus including the Teaching and Learning Committee and the Assessment Advisory Committee. She oversees the general operation of the Student Success Center. In 2013, she received the Superior Service Award from MSSU. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, yoga, and shopping.

Lori Musser, Ed.S., Coordinator of Student Disability Services
Mrs. Musser holds a BS degree in Education from Missouri Southern, and a Master of Science in Counseling and one in Educational Administration, both from Missouri State University. She also holds her Specialist degree in Educational Leadership, also from Missouri State University. Before becoming the Coordinator of Student Disability Services in August, 2012, Mrs. Musser spent 25 years as a public school educator in the Joplin, Missouri area. Mrs. Musser is excited about her second career in higher education and passionate about helping students with disabilities have full access to all university experiences. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, fishing and being a Grandma.

Glenda O'Dell, Administrative Assistant
Glenda O’Dell is the Administrative Assistant in the Student Success Center and has held this position since August 2010. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Science in General Studies with a minor in Graphic Design. She serves as a public official in the state of Missouri and Kansas as a Notary Public. Glenda enjoys working with all the students but, especially our tutors and note takers. Glenda enjoys traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
