Career Opportunities
Although we provide excellent training for law enforcement personnel,
our academic program is much broader and covers many other areas in the
criminal justice field. We offer academic training coupled with exposure
to "real world" practical training in areas including juvenile justice,
corrections, private and corporate security, loss prevention, conservation,
insurance investigation, probation and parole, child abuse investigation
and victim services.
Career opportunities are numerous. Our graduates are highly valued as
state and federal law enforcement officers with agencies such as the Missouri
State Highway Patrol, Missouri State Water Patrol and Kansas Highway Patrol,
as well as many county and municipal departments. On the federal level,
our graduates obtain employment with the Federal Bureau of Investigation,
the Drug Enforcement Agency, Secret Service and Border Patrol. Many graduates
are employed as juvenile officers, facility administrators, Division of
Family Services caseworkers and investigators, probation officers and
security administrators. Other career choices have included school security,
private investigation and insurance investigation. In addition, our graduates
are accepted into some of the most prestigious law schools and other graduate
school programs.
