The Department of Social Sciences invites applications for a one-year Assistant Professor of Political Science with the possibility of continuation. Candidates should be able to teach International Relations and Comparative Politics in addition to one or more of the following: Political Theory, Public Administration, and/or Public Policy. The course load is four classes per semester, including two or three sections of the introductory American Government course. The position requires a commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level and a willingness to direct student research and internships.
A Ph.D. is preferred but ABD considered. This appointment is scheduled to begin August 2013. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until a qualified candidate is selected.
