Academic Skills Specialist

Seeking applicants to fill the position of Academic Skills Specialist. Duties include recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising all Student Success Center tutors. Developing and administering systematic data for reporting of tutor usage, Level II Tutor Training, and program effectiveness. Teaching two academic courses per semester.

Master’s degree in education, educational psychology, curriculum and education administration or a related field is required. Director Career Services

Accepting applications for Director of Career Services. Position is responsible for providing leadership and direction for a comprehensive career planning facility with a mission to empower students and alumni to develop self-assessment and job-search competencies, to successfully link with employers, and to learn how to actively manage their own career development in a global job market, such as, resume building, interviewing, networking, etc.  The director works collaboratively with students, alumni, faculty, staff, and business and community representatives to identify and deliver a variety of services and programming. 

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. Five or more years of experience in program development, supervision and evaluation, budgeting, and business relations. Upward Bound Teachers

Upward Bound is seeking qualified Secondary School teachers in the areas of Spanish and Math to instruct Upward Bound students during the summer College Simulated Experience Program.
