The Department of Criminal Justice at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri invites applications for an Instructor or Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice with an annually renewable contract. Areas of specialization are open but ability to teach crime scene investigation related classes is desirable. Successful candidate may teach in the graduate Criminal Justice program.
Qualifications: Doctorate degree in criminal justice, criminology or related area is preferred but ABD will be considered; qualifications will determine rank. Applicants with criminal justice experience will be given additional consideration. The position requires a commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level.
