Ryan Meek is in his
first year as an assistant coach with the Lions' volleyball program. Meek comes
to the Lions after helping to run a successful club program in Fayetteville,
Arkansas.
Meek has coached in the Ozark Juniors system for three years, as well as serving as an assistant with the University of Arkansas women's volleyball team. Prior to his time in northwest Arkansas, Meek spent three years as the head varsity coach at his high school alma mater, Simi Valley High School in Simi Valley, California. A 2000 graduate of SVHS, Meek played at both Moorpark (Calif.) College and Quincy University before earning his degree from the University of Arkansas in May of 2009. |
