A
Softball Skills Camp is being offered this summer by the Missouri
Southern State University softball coaching staff and team. The
camp will be held on Lea Kungle and Gene Wild Fields on the campus
of Missouri Southern State University.

This camp will focus on offensive skills needed to
excel in softball and is geared toward players in grades 3-12. Camp
runs daily 9 am to noon. The cost to attend is
$90.
At all MSSU softball camps, each camper
is responsible for bringing their own glove, bat, helmet, shoes and
anything else needed to participate.

2008 MSSU Boy's and Girl's Soccer Academy |
|
|
|
June 23-26
The academy will strive to teach age
appropriate fundamentals of soccer and a basic understanding of the
game. The Academy will focus on drills and games to further develop
the skills of each player in the areas of: dribbling, shooting,
passing, defending, position training and goalkeeping training.
Each session will be divided into age appropriate groups for drills
and games.
Members of the men's and women's soccer
staffs at MSSU, as well as some current and former players will be
on hand to assist the staff in the instruction.
Cost for the academy is $60 per player
and does include all four days of the academy, secondary insurance
and a complimentary t-shirt.
All academy lessons will take place at
the MSSU Soccer Fields on the south side of campus.

Volleyball - 2008 MSSU Monday Night Volleyball |
|
|
| Each Monday
night from March 24 through April 14, Missouri Southern
volleyball coaches Chris Willis and Nicole Cirillo, along with a
number of MSSU volleyball players, will offer the Missouri Southern
Volleyball School. Campers will learn the fundamentals it takes to
play volleyball at a high level and will get the opportunity to
compete on a weekly basis. The
school is offered March 24, March 31, April 7 and April 14.
The cost is $15 per session, but if
you plan on attending all four sessions, you pay only $50. Checks
should be made payable to Chris Willis Volleyball Camps.
The Junior High session (for grades
5-8) is held from 6-7:30 p.m. each Monday
listed above in the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center on the campus of
Missouri Southern State University. The High School session (for
grades 9-12) is held from 7:30-9 p.m. each Monday night listed
above. Each session is limited to 42 athletes.

Volleyball - 2008 Summer Camps |
|
| The Missouri
Southern Volleyball Camps, under the direction of MSSU head coach
Chris Willis and assistant coach Nicole Cirillo, are scheduled
throughout the month of July. On July
12, the Attack Camp for high school players will be held from
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a cost per camper of $75 (includes lunch).
July
21-23 is the Young Players Camp
for players in grades 5-8. This camp runs each day from 9 a.m. until
5 p.m. and has a cost per camper of $150 (includes lunches).
July 25-26, the Team Shootout Camp takes
place. The cost per resident camper is $80 (includes all meals) and
for commuters it's $50 (includes no meals). One coach
per team is admitted free of charge. The Team Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. until
10 p.m. Day 2, the camp runs from 8:00 a.m.
until 6 p.m. The camp schedule includes 10 matches per team against
challenging competition.
July 28 is the date of the
Setters Camp. It will be held from 9 a.m. until 4
p.m. at a cost per camper of $75 (includes lunch and t-shirt).
July 29 is the date of the
Setters/Middle Hitter Camp. It will be held from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
at a cost per camper of $75 (includes lunch and t-shirt).
July 30 is the date of the Libero
Camp. It will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at a cost per camper
of $75 (includes lunch and t-shirt).

Volleyball - 2008 - USA Volleyball
National High Performance Training Camps |

USA
Volleyball is working with American Athlete to conduct the camps and
Missouri Southern's women's volleyball Head Coach Chris Willis will
be overseeing the camp held at Missouri Southern.
The camp is a key step for young volleyball athletes who want to
take their game to the next level and dream of one day representing
the USA on the National Women's Team. Players are encouraged to
attend a USA Volleyball High Performance National tryout to be
evaluated for teams, programs and camps.

Boys Basketball - 2008 Robert Corn

| The 2008
Robert Corn Basketball Camp, with instruction fro the Missouri
Southern coaching staff and players as well as area high school
coaches, will be held in late June and throughout the month of July.
The goal of the camp is to offer the best in fundamental skills, the
foundation of each player. The
camp includes 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games as well as individual contests
in shooting, dribbling and free throws. Campers will be taught the
importance of teamwork, defense and execution in a healthy,
fundamental and fun environment.
The camp will be held in Missouri
Southern's 3,200-seat, air-conditioned facility -- the Leggett &
Platt Athletic Center as well as Robert Ellis Young Gym. Overnight
campers will stay in dorms on campus and meals for the overnight
campers will be provided on campus.

Grade 1-6 Day Camp - July 14-17
... Cost: $145 per camper
Camp runs Monday-Thursday. Monday through Wednesday session is from
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday session dismisses at 12 noon. Campers are
to bring their own sack lunches - camp provides a soft drink. Cost
of the camp covers a souvenir T-shirt and basketball, plus secondary
insurance.
Grade 10-12 Individual Camp - July
14-16 ... Cost $60 per camper
Camp runs daily from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Cost of the camp covers a
souvenir T-shirt and basketball, plus secondary insurance.
Grade 7-10 Resident Camp - July
17-19 ... Cost: $195 per camper ($170 for commuting, or
non-resident, campers)
Camp begins with check-in at 2 p.m. on July 17 and ends with
check-out at 4 p.m. on July 19. Resident campers must provide all
bedding and toiletries. Cost covers a souvenir T-shirt and
basketball, plus secondary insurance (and two night's lodging and
six meals for resident campers; four meals for non-resident
campers).
A camp concession stand, in which
the camper can purchase soft drinks or snacks, will be provided for
all camps.
Camp contests and awards include a
daily free throw champion, weekly free throw champion, hot shot
contests, lay-up contests, dribbling contests, 3-on-3 contests and a
daily attitude award.

2008 MSSU
FOOTBALL MINI CAMP
The Missouri Southern State University 2008 Mini Camp is
designed for sophomore, junior and senior high school players who
want a chance to receive instruction/evaluation from the MSSU staff.
The camp will be a half day instruction combined with an NFL combine
style workout. This instruction is designed for young men entering
their sophomore, junior and senior year of high school. Campers will
receive individual instruction and a camp T shirt. Arrive dressed in
workout gear!

Strength and Conditioning Speed and
Agility Camp |
|
| The Missouri
Southern strength and conditioning staff will conduct a speed and
agility camp for athletes of all sports in grades 9-12. The camp will
help athletes learn techniques to improve their speed and agility.
The camp teaches and trains all aspects of sports performance,
including 40 starts, vertical jumping, speed development, foot
quickness and agility drills.
Each camper will be performance
tested pre and post camp to reveal the results the camp will
provide. Each camper will also be provided with a training program
that will include all of the drills taught at the camp.
The camp runs from June 9-20, every
Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am until noon.
The cost is $100 per camper and each
camper will receive a camp t-shirt with their experience.

2008 Children's Lifetime Sports
Academy |

| Applications
are being accepted for the Children's Lifetime Sports Academy, held
annually at Missouri Southern State University. The dates of the
academy are June 9-12 from 12:30-5:00 p.m. All children, ages, 7-12,
are welcome to attend. The goal
of the academy is to teach the skills and to promote the
appreciation of selected activities (fishing, bowling, golf, frisbee,
tennis, swimming, etc.) that can be played for fun, health and
fitness throughout life.
A fee of $70 per child will cover the
four days of instruction, use of facilities and equipment,
insurance, and a T-shirt.
