Criminal Justice – Crime Scene Investigation (CSI)

A minor in CSI-Crime Scene Investigation is designed to prepare students who are seeking careers utilizing crime scene investigation techniques and crime scene analysis. The minor provides students with the necessary skills to accurately investigate and process crime scenes, which include legal aspects, police response, photography, diagramming, and collecting physical evidence. Writing reports and presenting courtroom testimony are additional skills that will be developed. Students pursuing this minor may seek employment with investigative agencies on the federal, state, and local levels. A minor in CSI-Crime Scene Investigation consists of 24 credit hours. Students must a have a faculty adviser for a minor in CSI-Crime Scene Investigation.
