Dr. J. Chris Moos

Dr. J. Chris Moos began his teaching career as an adjunct instructor at MSSU in 2003. He was quickly offered a full time position and is currently serving as the Department Head of Marketing and Management for the School of Business Administration.

Dr. Moos has over 25 years of business experience prior to teaching. He has held the positions of CFO, COO, CEO and Consulting for Domestic, International and Multi-National Corporations.  Dr. Moos has served in the U. S. Navy (Officer Leadership & Management), and taught English as a Second Language (ESL).  He is also a Commander in the Navy (Retired).

Dr. Moos currently serves on the Budget Advisory Committee, as the Director for the International Trade and Quality Center, and as the adviser for the International Business Club at MSSU. He is one of approximately 1,030 individuals worldwide who are Certified Global Business Professionals. Dr. Moos has also been a member of the Strategic Planning Committee, a Co-Director for the USAID Grant, and a committee member for the Egypt, Brazil, China, and Russia themed semesters. In 2007 he was awarded MSSU's Outstanding International Education Teacher and in 2009 he received the Faculty Reseach Award.

Dr. Maria Bejan

Dr. Maria Bejan began teaching at the School of Business in 2011 as an Associate Professor of International Business. Dr. Bejan has 15 years of teaching experience, in multicultural environments, at undergraduate, graduate and executive level, obtaining several times the Distinguished Teacher Award. During these years Dr. Bejan taught a wide variety of business and economics courses at University Carlos III de Madrid (Spain) and ITAM Business School (Mexico), in English and Spanish. She also worked as the Coordinator of the International Business area in the Master programs at ITAM Business School. Dr. Bejan held various research positions, among them Doctoral researcher at Bocconi University (Italy) and University of Minnesota, Post-Doctoral researcher at the European Institute (Italy), Research Trainee at RGEA (Research Group in Economic Analysis)-University of Vigo (Spain), and visiting researcher at Rice University. Dr. Bejan’s research interest lies in the International Economics, Business and Finance area. Her papers have been presented at many international conferences and they received various citations. In the last years Dr. Bejan has been a member of several international academic organizations such as Academy of International Business, American Economic Association, and she served as a referee for international journals and organizations, among them the Canadian Journal of Economics, and the International Review of Economics and Finance.

Dr. Bejan currently teaches International Business and International Corporate Finance at MSSU. She serves on several academic committees, among them Academic Policy Committee, and she serves as co-advisor for the International Business Club.
