Dr. Rodriguez comes to MSSU from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where she was a Graduate Part-time Instructor and served on the Spanish Coordination Team for 1st and 2nd year Spanish students. During her time with Texas Tech University, Dr. Rodriguez developed course material and activities, supervised and assisted instructors teaching 1st and 2nd year students and assisted students with QUIA software, among other duties.
Dr. Rodriguez studied at the University College of Dublin in Dublin, Ireland from September 2000 through June 2001. She then studied at Universidad de Valladolid in Valladolid, Spain where she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in May 2003. She went on to earn two Master of Arts degrees from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. Her Master of Arts degrees are in Secondary Education and in TESOL and Spanish. Both were completed in August of 2005. Dr. Rodriguez earned her PhD in Classical and Modern Languages through Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas in the summer of 2013.
