In a compelling exploration of the intersection between culture and typography, nationally recognized speaker on typography, Nikki Villagomez, shares a captivating collection that transcends conventional cityscape imagery. Titled "How Culture Affects Typography," the collection delves into the nuances of urban life through a lens focused on manhole covers, building signs, neon signs, wayfinding, hand lettering, graffiti, murals, and historic signs.

Nikki's unique lens transforms seemingly mundane urban elements into powerful conduits of cultural expression. The collection serves as a visual narrative, unraveling the stories embedded in each city's visual tapestry. From the historical imprints on manhole covers to the vibrant dialogue of graffiti, every photograph encapsulates the heartbeat of the city.

Missouri Southern State University and Nikki Villagomez invites the community to join the celebration of urban cultures and typography.
