About the Program

The Master of Science in Management (MSM) program is designed for working adults who are looking for an opportunity to formalize and expand their knowledge of management and human resource management in order to advance their career.  

The M.S. Management program will allow for students to choose whether they would like to attend at a full-time or part-time status to be flexible with work and family.  Students attending full-time can complete the degree in as little as three semesters, and part-time students can complete the degree in five semesters.

The M.S. Management program degree requires 30 graduate hours and is offered in hybrid format. Tracks are available in Management and Human Resource Management.

Program Costs

The M.S. Management program at MSSU is designed to be completed in up to five semesters.

Books and tuition costs are subject to change annually.

Financial Aid

Students who wish to apply for financial aid for a graduate program should complete the free application for student aid (FAFSA) and list the Missouri Southern State University school code (002488)

6 to 8 hours, part-time aid

9 or more hours, full-time aid

Stafford Loans: can be used for graduate studies until the award is exhausted, provided that the student is degree-seeking.


Eligibility requirements:

The requirements for admission are a bachelor’s degree (in any discipline) and a 3.0 GPA for their last 60 hours of course work. A GMAT, GRE or an MFT (Business) greater than or equal to 70% percentile may be considered if the 3.0 GPA requirement is not met. There are no specific prerequisite courses for admission into the program, but tutorial modules may be required to be completed as necessary.
