Upward Bound

Good news for Upward Bound: Refunding for 5 more years.

is a federally funded program designed to help students gain the skills necessary to persist through high school, enter post-secondary education and obtain a college degree.

Missouri Southern State University has been awarded funding to select freshman, sophomore or junior students from the following area high schools:Carl Junction, Carthage, East Newton, Joplin and Webb City.
