Hi, my name is Neha Bang and I am a biology tutor. I am currently a junior pursuing a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. On campus I am involved with the Phi Eta Sigma and Alpha Chi Honors Societies, as well as Southern Welcome. After I graduate, I hope to attend medical school. Whenever I have free time, I enjoy long-distance running, hiking, and traveling to exotic places! If you need any help with biology, please feel free to take advantage of what the Student Success Center has to offer! My name is Mackenzie Christensen, and I am a tutor in English, Writing, and General Studies. My major is Secondary English Education, and I can't wait to have my own classroom someday! I'm part of many groups on campus, such as the Honors Program, Spanish Club, and Sigma Tau Delta, the English honor society. I enjoy traveling, reading, dancing, and crafting.

Computer Information Science (CIS)

Hello, my name is Aji Fatou Dibba. I am from The Gambia, West Africa. I am a junior, triple majoring in Computer Information Science, Computational Mathematics, and French. I plan to attend graduate school to study software engineering after my undergraduate degree. The French club, CIS club, and National Alpha Chi Honor Society are organizations that I am part of on campus. On my free time, I enjoy exercising, watching TV shows, reading articles, hanging out with friends, and shopping. I hope to one day travel the world, meet new people, and experience different cultures. I will be tutoring CIS, Math, and French. Hi, my name is Blair Freed. I tutor chemistry, biology, math, and writing. I am a sophomore majoring in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. Hey there! I’m Amy Goodwin and I’m a senior, studying Criminal Justice and Sociology. When I’m not in class, I enjoy being involved in my church, writing, being outdoors, shopping, and spending quality time with my friends. After I graduate this December, I’m looking into different organizations I could serve with abroad in India. I have a passion for fighting sex trafficking, and Asia is heavily dominated by the sex trade. After spending some time over there, I plan on returning to the USA where I will attend graduate school at The University of Kansas, pursuing my Master’s in Social Work. I love people and I hope to make a difference in this world, one life at a time.

Hello, my name is Emily Jenkins. I am a sophomore and I am a CIS, writing, and general studies tutor. I am majoring in Computer Forensic Science, with an emphases in computer information and also criminal justice. I am participating in Project Stay, and have a part-time job apart from tutoring. In my free time, I love to travel, play video games, and spend time with friends and family. After college, I aspire to become a computer forensic scientist for the FBI and move out of Missouri for the first time. I love learning and I do aspire to continue my education after achieving my bachelor’s degree in Computer Forensics.

A sophomore pursuing a double major in Literary Studies and International Studies, with minors in Music and French, I am also a member of the Lion Pride Marching Band, the Wind Ensemble, and Sigma Tau Delta. I also have plans to get active in the French Club at some point. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, hiking, playing the horn, and being with my friends and family. My future term goals involve joining the Peace Corps and adventuring around the world.

Hi, my name is Trish Lee. I'm in my junior here at MSSU majoring in Secondary Math Education. I love math and hope to someday teach high school Algebra and Trigonometry. I’ve been a CRLA certified tutor for two years now and have found that I have a passion for helping students succeed with their math classes. What a lot of people don’t know about me is that I started out in Beginning Algebra. I didn’t really discover my love for math until I came back to school. So I understand how frustrating it can get, but with patience and determination anyone can succeed! I also love to read, garden, and playing golf in my off time. Hey, I'm Nathaniel Oberley, a junior here at Missouri Southern.  I tutor Math and Physics at the Student Success Center.  I have lots of passion for math and I hope to become a math teacher when I graduate!  I am also a swim coach for Berzerker Swimming, the USA swim team in the area.  I spend a lot of time on the pool deck but I always try and swim a few hours a week to stay in shape.  I am from Virginia Beach, VA but I have really enjoyed my time in MO so far!  If you want to talk about Star Wars, Math, Marvel movies, or the newest alternative rock music, I am always up for it!

Hi! My name is Robbin Robertson and I am a Respiratory Therapy tutor. I will be graduating in May 2016 with my Bachelors in Health Science, Associates in Respiratory Therapy, and as an Alpha Chi Honor Society member. I am not sure yet which hospital I will try to get a job at once I graduate because I have several that I am interested in and I look forward to applying at them all and see where my life will go once I make that decision.  I really enjoy helping others. Hello! My name is Juliet Smith and I am in the Dental Hygiene Class of 2016 here at MSSU. I'm from Northwest Arkansas and I received my B.S. in Environmental, Soil, and Water Sciences from the University of Arkansas. I love nature and science and learning new things. My aspirations include being a ninja warrior in the battle against tooth decay and periodontal disease and convincing all of my classmates to sing karaoke with me. In my leisure time I enjoy breaking a sweat at the Beimdiek Recreation Center, playing board games, thrift shopping, and watching TED Talks. During the summer, I enjoy spending time in and on the river and volunteering at my favorite summer camp. I hope that my previous experiences can be of some help to you in your classes.
