Dear Transfer and Former Student,
Southern Welcome is an orientation and enrollment event. Students will receive a welcome bag which contains a catalog and academic material. Students will enroll with a faculty advisor, and will have the opportunity to speak with members of student services including the Bursar, financial aid, housing, bookstore, etc. in one location in one afternoon. Southern Welcome brochures will be mailed the first part of February to students who have completed the admission application and have been accepted to the university.
Southern Welcome for Transfer and Former students is scheduled for Wednesday, April 13, 2016. Reservations are required. Submitting a reservation will reserve your spot and ensure that we have an adequate number of faculty advisors to assist students who attend the program. You will need your student identification number (S#) from your acceptance letter to complete the Southern Welcome registration form.
If you are unable to attend Southern Welcome, you can enroll in the department of your major during 'open enrollment' beginning Monday, April 18, 2016. You can refer to the checklist below to ensure you have met with the appropriate departments to assist you in completing the enrollment process.
