Director of the Center of Assessment and Institutional Research

The Director of the Center of Assessment and Institutional Research (CAIR) reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and is responsible for providing leadership in all aspects of the Center including planning and implementing the overall goals and objectives of the Center; develop, implement and  coordinate processes for the assessment of student learning outcomes including communication to campus constituencies, assessing academic programs, coordinating student surveys, and the routine and ad hoc reporting of such assessments.

Master’s degree in institutional research, higher education, statistics or research-oriented field is required. Doctorate is preferred.  View complete job description and additional requirements on this website.

ACTS Academic Advisor

Missouri Southern is seeking energetic, highly motivated and collaborative candidates for an Academic Advisor position in the Advising, Counseling and Testing Services (ACTS) department. The Academic Advisor provides individual academic advising to undecided first, second year, undecided transfer students and at-risk students. The Advisor plans and manages caseload advisement, career exploration, and other program services; coaches, and meets regularly with students every semester.

Bachelor degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Previous experience of academic advising or one year of high school or university employment in which a thorough knowledge of academic programs was required.  Teaching experience is preferred.
