Full-time Nursing Faculty Educator

Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) Department of Nursing is experiencing an exciting period of growth and seeks a nursing educator to fill a full-time, 10-month position beginning August 1, 2015.  Educators with a demonstrated talent and commitment to the dual role of leadership and scholar are invited to join our team.  The Department is seeking an innovative individual that is interested in working with new teaching technologies.  The position requires the applicant to be a certified nurse practitioner.  Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.

Applicants should have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Nurse practitioner with a doctoral degree, or working toward a terminal degree
  • Teaching and clinical experience appropriate to position
  • Portray evidence of professionalism and be diplomatic when working with others
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Scholarly record consistent with academic rank
  • Licensed or eligible for Missouri licensure as an RN
