Missouri Southern State University, an institution with a state-wide mission in international education, invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Spanish beginning August of 2014. The successful candidate should have native or near native proficiency, demonstrate excellent teaching skills, and be lawfully authorized to teach in the United States. Preference will be given to candidates with a doctorate and experience in teaching advanced grammar, composition, creative writing, and peninsular literature. Past experience and /or willingness to lead short-term study abroad trips are also preferred.
