Tuition Payment Options

For the convenience of our students, the Missouri Southern Bursar's Office offers several ways to make payments to student accounts

Online

LioNet allows students the ability and flexibility of online payments.

Payments accepted via LioNet include:

  • E-Check
  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • Discover

Please note:  Credit card payment(s) for a balance you anticipate will be paid with financial aid, scholarships, or other awards may result in a credit balance after financial aid is posted.  This credit will be refunded back to the credit card, not by check, per our credit card merchant agreement.

In Person

Student account balances paid in person can be made at the Bursar's Office Cashier Windows located on the 2nd floor of Hearnes Hall, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.  After-hours payments can be placed in the Bursar's Office drop box, located next to the cashier windows, during Hearnes Hall building hours.  Be sure to include your student ID number with all drop box payments.

Please ensure checks are made payable to MSSU and include the student's ID number.  Please do not send cash by mail.

Post-dated checks are not accepted and will be returned.

Payment Plan

Missouri Southern utilizes Tuition Management Systems (TMS) to manage our monthly payment plans.  Payments are made directly to TMS.  Please visit our Payment Plan page for more information.
