JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - Missouri Southern State University won an award for its exhibit at the Joplin Business Expo Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 24 and 25 at the John Q. Hammons Trade Center.
Out of about 200 businesses represented, MSSU’s exhibit was named “Best Booth – Most Likely to Gain My Business.”
The exhibits were judged by more than 40 students in the Tomorrow’s Leaders Today program and Chamber representatives.
Rod Surber, Director of University Relations & Marketing at MSSU, coordinated development of the exhibit, which was produced by Lee & Wyrsch Marketing Group.
“I appreciate the Integrated Marketing Committee’s direction with this project and all of those who worked at the Business Expo. We saw hundreds of students, alumni and friends at the Expo and the comments were all highly positive. We will use the components for many other activities on campus and elsewhere,” Surber said.
The exhibit featured inviting tables and stools emblazoned with the MSSU logo plus iPads so visitors could immediately browse MSSU’s website.
