All empoyers must follow the principles for employment professionals established by The National Association of Colleges and Employers.  Employers not meeting these guidelines will not be allowed to post positions or attend career fairs.

Post Job & Internship Opportunities

On-Campus Interviews
Hire a Lion is MSSU Career Services' job & resume database. Employers can post jobs, view student resumes and register for career events or on-campus interviews. Not only is it FREE, but it's also a quick and easy way to let MSSU students and alumni know about all of your job openings. Employers can post full-time, part-time and internship opportunities.  Career Services encourages employers to schedule on-campus interviews with students and alumni for their full-time and internship positions. Simply log into Hire a Lion or contact us to choose the dates and times you plan to conduct interviews on-campus. Please allow at least two weeks notice to publicize interview opportunities to students.

Employer Events

Career Services hosts several events throughout the year to connect employers with students and alumni. Employers are encouraged to attend events to increase student awareness of your company's opportunities. Check our Employer Events section for upcoming event dates.

Spring Career Fair March 7, 2013

Registration includes a 6 foot table, business listed in event program and website, and complimentary lunch.

 Sponsorship

Introduce your company or school to the best and brightest students and alumni. Missouri Southern State University offers a variety of events designed to help students prepare for the workforce. Participation in career- prep events offers the opportunity to peak student interest before the career fair. MSSU currently has over 5,700 students enrolled, over 1,600 attended career events last year. Sponsorship opportunities include: Fall and Spring Career Fairs, Career Prep Luncheons, Career Fair Crams, and Etiquette Dinners.

Sponsor level registration includes a 6 foot table, complimentary lunch, company logo in event program and website, company information listed on banners, posters, and campus newspaper.

Career Prep Luncheon Sponsor $100 per lunch

Reach students in an intimate atmosphere, luncheons attract 75-150 students per event. Students enjoy the casual and interactive environment. Sponsorship includes a three-minute company introduction which can be an individual presentation, or we will be happy to show a video on your behalf. Company information will be distributed to visitors upon arrival.  

Career Fair Cram Sponsor $100 per event
February 28, 2013
The Career Fair Cram offers a fun and fast-paced environment for students to fine-tune their skills before the career fair. Stations include mock interviews, resume critique, how to tie a tie, networking, and many more. Company logo will be used in promotional materials, displayed during event, and materials will be included in visitor packets. If interested, sponsors can man a station to meet students in a casual environment and share career-related advice.  

Etiquette Dinner and Networking 101 Sponsor $100 per event
March 5, 2012
Students learn how to successfully navigate business dinners and networking events. Sponsor logo will be included on table tents and marketing material.
