Assistant Director of the Physical Plant

Missouri Southern State University is currently accepting applications for the Assistant Director of the Physical Plant. The Assistant Director will provide leadership and management to the physical plant personnel and implement programs and policies related to the maintenance of the campus buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include but are not limited to directing, planning, coordinating and administering the work activities of the custodial, grounds, mechanical maintenance, painters and carpenters maintenance crew. Develops and implements necessary programs to ensure proper allocation of staff, training, equipment, contracted services and operating funds. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. A minimum of five years related experience and/or training in maintenance and or construction project management is required. Dean of Student Success and Support - CLOSED

Seeking applicants to fill the position of Dean of Student Success and Support.  Duties include being responsible for the administration, planning, supervision, and financial management of the following departments and/or programs: Advising, Testing; New Student Orientation; First-Year Experience; Career Services; Student Success Center; and Disability Services. Position also assists with the University’s Title IV Coordination.

Master’s degree required (doctorate preferred) from a regionally accredited university, in Education, Educational Administration, Higher Education Law, Educational Leadership, University Personnel Administration, or a related field. Six years’ experience in leadership positions within higher education with increasing supervisory and/or administrative student support experience.
