Jared Elliott is entering his second season as an assistant coach with Southern
where he will be working with the wide receivers.
Last season, under Elliott's watchful eye, Mark Henderson and Johnny Johnson
were in the top ten in the MIAA in total receiving yards and were first and
second in receptions per game.
A graduate of Miami University in Oxford Ohio, Elliott was a letter winner,
playing both quarterback and wide receiver during his tenure at Miami.
Originally from Franklin, TN., Elliott was an All-State quarterback for Page
High School where he broke every school passing record and was also a three-time
All-Region, and three-time All-County selection.
Jared and his wife Jamie were married May 24, 2008. |
