Missouri Southern Cheerleaders

Squad Description The Missouri Southern Cheerleaders is a coed squad made up of approximately (but not limited to)16 student-athletes with 8 females and 8 males. Each member could receive up to $500 a semester scholarship money.
Responsibilities Squad members are expected to attend and perform at all home football and basketball games, homecoming parades, and pep assemblies.
Practices Practices will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:45-5:45 pm and Monday nights 8:00-9:30 pm for stunting and tumbling at a local gym. Summer practices will be one week before camp along with stunting and tumbling practices scheduled at a local gym. Camp is usually the last week in July at MSU in Springfield.
Tryouts Cheerleader tryouts will be in April in which a two-day clinic will be held to teach the required material. Tumbling is preferred and helps your overall score. More information about tryouts is in the tryouts link.
Eligibility To be eligible for the Missouri Southern Cheerleaders, members are required to enroll in at least 12 hours. This is also a requirement to be eligible for scholarship money.
