Entry Fee

$150 per team limited to 18 entries per team University and Open races. 
($300 max per men s and woman s teams)
$80 per team limited to 16 entries per team High School races. 
($160 max per boys and girls teams)
$25 per Unattached or Individual in University and Open races.  No unattached athletes allowed in High School Races.
Fun Run is FREE  (This race is for High School Teams that have more than 16 on their team and Coaches wish to have them race.)  Also open to anyone else that just wants to run.  Just show up at the Starting line after the High School Boys 5K.  NO Awards. Unofficial time will be kept on stadium scoreboard clock only.

Important: Coaches DO NOT ENTER more than the required number (18 for University, 16 for High School). If you hit the final declaration and you have more than the required number, you will be charged $30 per individual over the limit. You will not be able to change after you make your final declaration and this WILL BE ENFORCED.

Just another reminder that we will be utilizing a chip timing system and coaches are responsible for returning each of their athlete's chips. There will be a charge for any chip not returned and your school WILL BE BILLED.

Entry Fee is payable NO LATER THAN day of meet. Cash, Check, or PO - NO CREDIT OR BILLING AVAILABLE. Fees based on athletes ENTERED, not participating.

Deadline is Monday September 15, 2008 at 6 pm!
Entries must be transmitted on-line. Faxed entries or phone entries
will not be accepted.

BE SURE TO DESIGNATE THE DIVISION IN WHICH YOUR HIGH SCHOOL IS ENTERED (more information below)
Coaches should remember to declare only the 16 entries per high school and the 18 for university teams. All other names will be cut off.

Scoring
The first 5 runners will count in team scoring and 6th and 7th runners will count as displacement scores. There will be team champions in 6 divisions:
University Women
University Men
High School Girls Division I (see chart below)
High School Girls Division II (see chart below)
High School Boys Division I (see chart below)
High School Boys Division II (see chart below)
Please indicate the Division in which your school will compete (see chart below)!

There will NOT be a Junior Varsity Race. Extra athletes may participate in the Open Fun Run but coaches are responsible for timing their own runners. Race numbers are not required for Fun Run, just report to Starting Line.

Awards
* Team awards will be presented to the Top 2 Teams in each division.
* First-Tenth place finishers in each division Receive - Stampede Watches

Registration
Packet pick-up Saturday 7:30-10 am at Stadium

Trainer
Athletic trainers will be available at the site

Facilities
* Rolling hills, all grass except for Finish on the Track (course maps can be downloaded from the at Missouri Southern Cross Country website) www.mssu.edu/athletics  then go to Cross Country.
* Course may be reviewed Friday afternoon 3-5 pm and Saturday morning prior to start of first race.
* Dressing facilities across street at Young Gym, bring towel. Coaches responsible for athletes inside the facility.

High School Divisions Chart
Missouri Class 3 & Up = Division I
Missouri Class 2 & Down = Division II

Arkansas Class 4A & Up = Division I
Arkansas Class 3A & Down = Division II

Oklahoma 400 or more enrolled in grades 9-12 = Division I
Oklahoma 399 or fewer enrolled in grades 9-12 = Division II

Kansas Class 4A & Up = Division I
Kansas Class 3A & Down = Division II

Enrollment 9-12: All of these are based on enrollment (400+ Division I, 399 or less Division II)

Please make sure you enter the appropriate Division in the High School races.

Please make sure you read the entry procedure and only enter your limited number before making final declaration. The entry deadline is Monday, September 15, 2008 at 6 pm.
