Undergrad Research Competition

The Robert W. Plaster School of Business hosts the annual Undergraduate Research Competition at Missouri Southern. This competition provides students and advisers the opportunity to analyze a topic more in depth outside of a classroom setting. It is a collaboration to bring research opportunities to undergraduates while preparing students to continue their education with a master’s degree.

Research Paper Track Options

Track one - pure research papers

  • Included in this track would be Honors Program research
  • Papers developed for a class or independent study
  • Papers developed joint with a professor

Track two - applied research papers or projects

  • Organization specific business/marketing plans
  • Organization specific projects

Third Place: Elesha Pledger, senior Human Resource Management from Joplin “China, Global Economic Leader: Priming for the Future”
