The auditorium
was built in late 1975 in honor of Thomas E. Taylor of Carthage, MO. He was a member of the first Board of
Trustees of Jasper County Junior College District (later to be known as MSSU).
The auditorium is a state-of-the-art performance center. It is a 53,358 square
feet and can seat up to 2,024.
