Dr. Howe serves as department head and teaches a variety of Engineering Technology courses including Six Sigma Methodology, Applied Statistical Quality Control, Design of Experiments, Intro to Industrial Engineering Technology, and Industrial Supervision. Prior to her academic career, Dr. Howe worked in the manufacturing sector as process and sales engineer.

Dr. Bartholet’s area of expertise is in the field of 3D design drafting and graphics. He holds a doctoral degree is in the fields of Instructional Design and Distance Education. He teaches in a variety of areas including Engineering Graphics I, Engineering Graphics II, Intro to 3D CAD, Technical Illustration, Architectural Drafting, and Plant Layout and Design. He is also a certified Autodesk Trainer.

J. S. Duggal brings to the department varied educational, administrative, and industrial experience. He holds a doctoral degree in Engineering Education. His area of expertise includes product design, engineering graphics, production engineering, and non-destructive testing via computer assisted FEA/FEM. The courses he teaches include Engineering Graphics I, Industrial Statics & Strength of Materials, Computer Production/Planning Control, Work Measurement/Ergonomics, and Mechanical Design.

Claudia Koch joined the department in 2008 with broad educational and 14 years of industrial experience. Her areas of specialty lie in the field of metallurgy, material properties, and heat treatment which be reflecting into taught courses including Introduction to Machine Tool Practices, Principles and Application of CNC Programming, Energy Technology, Engineering Materials, and Basic Electricity Electronics. Prior to her joining the IET department, Mrs. Koch worked in multiple areas of manufacturing as a Metallurgist and Process Engineer.
