Dental Hygiene
Programs available to you...
PARTNERING INSTITUTIONS:
Missouri Southern State University has created partnerships with the Rolla
Public Schools and Southeast Missouri State University to extend dental hygiene
education to other areas of the state. In Rolla the dental hygiene
program will be housed at Rolla Technical Center, 500 Forum. In Southeast
Missouri the program will be housed on the Southeast Sikeston Campus at 2401
N. Main in Sikeston.
The dental hygiene curriculum mirrors
the main campus. Lecture courses are taught using
Interactive Television, Internet or a combination of these formats. Using
the ITV format students interact live with instructors and fellow students
at all sites. Each site will have a clinic for the clinical instruction
experience. As students in a health care profession, Dental hygiene students
may be exposed to bloodborne
pathogens and infections diseases.
