Dental Hygiene Clinics
The Missouri Southern State University Dental Hygiene Clinics see patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the semester. The patients are practiced on by our student dental hygienists in order for them to learn proper technique. They are supervised by dental hygiene faculty and a supervising dentist at all times. The dental hygiene students have access to the list of people who have contacted the clinic for an appointment. MSSU's main goal is to graduate our students. They, in turn, must meet certain criteria each semester to continue and to graduate. They have to see a certain number of Class I (cleaner teeth) to Class IV (dirtier teeth).

Hours of operation:
We
have so many Class I's, we are never able
to get all the requests for cleaning into the clinic. Therefore,
please note that you may not be able to be seen for quite some
time, and there is the possibility you will not be able to be seen
at all. If you would still like to leave your name and your phone
number to try for an appointment, please click
on the appropriate contact email link above and send your name, your phone number, and the last time you
had your teeth cleaned and the last time they were x-rayed. Dental
cleanings and x-rays are the only services provided by our clinic.
Dental services such as extractions, dentures, fillings, crowns,
etc. are not offered.
