Founded
in 1997 the Russian club is open to all students who are interested
in Russia. We look into all aspects of Russian life such as
entertainment, politics, economy, traditions, and art. Missouri
Southern's international mission has attracted a large number
of students from Russia and the former Soviet Union; many
of them are members, visitors, or speakers at the Russian
club. However, there is even a bigger number of American students
involved with the Russian club activities who are interested
in Russian culture and in learning the language. Our meetings,
which are held on bi-weekly basis, have both fun and educational
purposes. We try to keep up on Russian current events as well
as to make plans for the next trip to Russia. We have specifically
designed this web site to assist students and visitors to
gather more knowledge about Russian culture.
