Student Activities

The mission of Student Activities is to encourage the intellectual and social development of students, individually and through student groups. The programs, services and facilities provided by Student Activities are designed to serve students by:

  1. stimulating an interchange of ideas, attitudes and opinions
  2. providing opportunities for leadership and development of interpersonal skills
  3. involving students in designing / implementing their own programs.
  4. providing places for students to meet, relax, learn and be entertained
  5. contributing to a satisfying and enjoyable campus environment

Our central belief is that students who are actively involved in campus life will find their experience at MSSU to be more satisfying and successful.

The Student Activities Office also plays an important role with Homecoming and other Special Events such as Welcome Week and Finals Madness.  It also serves as a resource to student organizations through approving publications and registering events.
