What we offer

American Red Cross Health & Safety Trainings

These courses are intended to train participants in various levels and types of American Red Cross Health & Safety Classes. At the successful completion of most courses, participants will be certified in their corresponding areas for 2 years. New certification cards will be issued within 45 days of class completion to all participants who successfully complete the class. Participants are not required to certify in all areas to take a class...certifying in only one area or any combination of areas listed is acceptable. While books, masks, and/or other training materials are provided during most classes, participants wishing to retain a copy of any training material(s) should do so through the American Red Cross.

Adult & Pediatric 1st Aid/CPR/AED for School, Community, Workplace Re-certification Class

DESCRIPTION: This course is intended to recertify those persons who are already certified in Adult &/or Pediatric 1st Aid/CPR/AED for School, Community, and/or Workplace, through the American Red Cross. Participants must bring proof of current certification or certification that has been expired less than 30 days. This class will have minimal review before written and skills tests are administered. Participants should review in advance and come prepared with any questions they may have regarding the class info. These questions will be answered before the tests are given. No books, masks, or other training materials are provided with this class.

Adult 1st Aid/CPR/AED for School, Community, Workplace Certification Class

  • REGISTRATION DEADLINE: There are no sessions scheduled at this time.
  • COST: MSSU Students/Faculty/Staff ($75)

DESCRIPTION: This class is intended to certify patrons in American Red Cross CPR, AED, and 1st Aid for School, Community, & Workplace. While participants are provided with a book and skills card during the class, it is the responsibility of the participant toretain a copy through the American Red Cross, if they would like a copy.

CPR/AED/1st Aid for the Professional Responder Certification Class

DESCRIPTION: This class is intended to certify patrons in American Red Cross CPR, AED, and 1st Aid for the Professional Responder. While participants are provided with a book and skills card during the class, it is the responsibility of the participant to retain a copy through the American Red Cross, should they want their own.
