Lifeguard Instructor Certification Course

This class will cover the American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor skills for certification. Enrollees will participate in classroom instruction (land & water), skills tests, and written exams. Successful completion of this course certifies the participant to teach Lifeguarding, Aquatic Management, and CPR/AED/1^st Aid for Professional Rescuers & Healthcare Providers. Price includes all required text(s), teaching tools, and certification cards.

Participants must be at least 17 years of age and able to pass the pre-requisites which include:

+ Possess one of the following:

Current American Red Cross Universal Certificate for Lifeguarding/1st Aid/CPR/AED
Current American Red Cross Universal Certificate for Lifeguarding/1st Aid and either an American Red Cross Universal Certificate for CPRA/AED for the Professional Resucer or CPR/AED for Lifeguards
Equivalent certificate from another approved organization

+ Successfully complete the Online Session for the Lifeguarding Instructor course, which consists of the following:

Orientation to the American Red Cross
Orientation to the Lifeguarding Instructor Course
Lifeguarding Instructor Precourse Exam

+ Successfully complete the precourse session
