I have to say I feel like there are several areas that MSSU has helped in developing my skills. One of the most important is leadership skills. Often students are paired up into groups for a class project. I have found that if I wait for another student to start a project it will happen the night before, so this has helped me to develop leadership skills in assigning different tasks to members of the team. Being a project manager in keeping fellow students on track to finish projects before the deadline has helped develop those skills.
