Biology and Spanish major from Seneca
Going to Spain didn’t just mean meeting Spaniards; there were students from all over the world and we became a mass of nationalities. We traveled together expressing our opinions in one common language: Spanish. Coming home after being in Spain allowed me to appreciate the freedoms we have and the advances in our society. I have learned to appreciate and respect the history that influences our culture. It has made me a world traveler and an explorer. Now looking back, so many things remind me of my adventures, and I often find myself saying, When I was in Spain… It is the fact that I had found the courage to go and the interest to learn and discover a whole new world.
