As of January 26, 2006, wireless Internet is available in all buildings
on campus.
Instructions for Wireless Internet Access at MSSU are available from the following
Information Services page.
http://blogs.mssu.edu/its/category/help-desk-and-faqs/internet-and-wireless/page/2/
You will need to bring your own wireless network adapter in a laptop computer
or PDA to connect to the network. Any adapter that supports 802.11a, 802.11b, or 802.11g will work.
Proprietary speed-enhancing protocols (such as "Speed Boost" or "AirPlusXtremeG") are not supported.
Public patrons can not use the wireless network. In order to sign
in to the wireless network, a MOSO ID will be needed, which community
patrons are not assigned.
Also, some faculty may need to request (through Information Services
- http://blogs.mssu.edu/its/)a
MOSO ID to use the wireless network.
